speaking my mind but you say that its blasphemy
why can’t I live in a world where I don’t believe?

i cannot see why I believe in the sanctity
heaven is a false objective derived from years of breeding minds
poisoning them, false hope and fear go hand in hand with god

god's forever failing to uphold all of his truths
destroy my faith in belief I won’t be held down by you
your faiths derived from recounts of man-made signs and symbols
the blood of Christ’s gone with the ages-truth you’ll never find

a mystery it is to live this life
a misery when the sin feeds off your guilt
the fear of god has made you less than capable
hiding behind the cross you dirty priests
hypocritical till the day you die
religion's a scapegoat and your sickness too

the principals of church disgrace the holy trinity
our questions go unanswered and are claimed as heresy
the conceivable kingdom of god lies deep within you
split a piece of wood and I am there, lift a stone and you shall find me

listen to all god’s words…he'll set you free

remnants of all the hidden boundaries
sanctioning all of freedoms traits
poisoning all the youthful essence
controlled by your god fearing state

freedom is yours if you do as I say-not as I do

misinterpreted are the lord’s words
simplicity in faith is no more
deceitful minds destroy all innocence
twisting the light without remorse

i’ve lost my faith due to the laws counselled by men.
their sole objective: to maintain the global blind fold to all the flock devout enough to will their lives away and perish knowing not of the nature of all things so pure, that there is more to life than committing your soul to a testament which states that we are all born with original…sin.
